I just binge watched the series today. Found it to be a great story, one that I had previously been unaware of . I did not like how the boys were coerced into admitting to something they did not do, but I suspect those tactics were not unusual in those days. I am extremely glad to see that they were finally exonerated.
There are two things that I found strange about the story, (until I realized who the producers were). First thing is... I wondered what was the significance of including that Donald Trump voiced an opinion guarding the death penalty, but couldn't, or didn't,
explain if he was speaking with any regard to that particular case...(other than to bash his name during an election year). The other curious thing was I couldn't figure out why attention was given to the 9/11 incident in New York City other than possibly to give a timeline, which seemed to be irrelevant to the story.
