A lot of people make this book/film into a negative view for themselves. Forgetting this isn’t real life. This isn’t a PG rated film. This is fantasy, love and obsession, eroticism, and BDSM. This is a twist to most romantic books/films this is for a person who likes their stories rough, it’s from a different origin, not Americanize, if people would watch different movies from different parts of the world they would see that America has this way of making stuff more gently romantic and “love is kind and you should be nice” and all these other visions. 365 DNI is yes of course rough, ofc violent and obsessive and that’s what makes it so strong. If you realize Laura is a sexually frustrated woman. She has a heart condition and it makes men think they have to be gentle and what not to her. However Laura is not that woman. She likes it rough she like the man handling and Massimo acknowledges Laura, he sees she has a heart condition, but that in no way shape of form changes her in his eyes. She is still the woman who likes to be disobedient until dominated. And Massimo knows what he’s doing and she likes it and so does he.. obviously. He gives her what she wants. If people disconnect themselves from the vanilla and connect to more outside the box; they’d appreciate this in a different point of view. 365 is strong, beautiful, erotic with some BDSM and love & obsession and guess what? that’s what fans want. They want the fantasy that reality can’t give. There are Books and movies that are supposed to bring you into their world, their fantasy, you’re not always supposed to insert it into your real life, you’ll end up being very critical and missing the books point.. (Ps. 50 shades got nothing on this.) 😅 and SHE IS NEVER RAPED. She teases him and pushes his buttons bc it entices her. She then IS THE ONE who consents to intimate Intercourse(s). I LOVE THIS MOVIE. Some people are just too sensitive. And if we want to compare and contrast don’t forget in the first movie of 50 shades me grey spanks Anastasia where she realizes in pain she doesn’t like it and is more humiliated while grey is enticed. NOT IN 365! Laura loves it when Massimo is aggressive. And she pushes his buttons for it. And no it’s not “Stockholm syndrome”. That’s between Laura and Massimo.
