I tolerated the poorer entries in the Star Wars franchise as there was always something fun or nostalgic to enjoy. Not so with Obi-Wan. The show makes little sense, feels like there are no stakes, and has villains that make insultingly bad and often incomprehensible decisions. We had to give up partway through because we don't hate ourselves. I wouldn't even show it to a small child. I wouldn't just "not recommend" the show, but for the sake of still having respect for the Star Wars universe, I would actively avoid it. It may turn you off from all things Star Wars.
