Helen Fitch

I have previously loved this author's work and I was enjoying the book, right up until the author created a scene where women protested that a male woman-killer *might* decide to claim to be a woman and be moved to a women's prison. In a book that purports to be feminist this was such a misogynistic scene. It bore no relevance to the storyline and was utterly unnecessary. It just promoted hate. I have returned the book and the other that I bought at the same time.
