Storyline & characters are interesting and very believable but the format totally put me off. The premise is a writer Amanda Bailey is researching & reporting a true crime story for ‘holiday reading’ - I am on holiday and trust me it’s not page turning which is a shame as I have really engaged with the characters. I was drawn to the book as it was pushed as Agatha Christie for the 21st century. This will not be a classic in 20 years time. I so wanted to enjoy this novel but it is disjointed & slightly boring !
