I have never played any nhl game and can say for sure that this game is way too confusing to pick up on. There are no tutorials or anything in the game, so you have to try to learn on your own, which is very frustrating. EA truly knows how to disappoint.

I have been playing this game for years and I still wonder why I think they will get any better. Not only have they made the controls worse, they took away all the fun from the game. Now there’s no story for my career, they entirely gave up on drafting you to a team, no college ball, and they made the park even more confusing. If you are reading this, please do not waste your money on this game.

WORST GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED!! EA YOU SHOULD BE DISAPPOINTED!! I don’t even know where to start. There have been multiple cases where a shot that should have been made has just bricked off of the rim cause of a 1% contested shot that anyone can make and times where I’m guarding my man and get a defensive breakdown for not guarding a man that I’m not assigned to. As I am playing now, my player rebounds the ball and IMMEDIATELY drops it for the other team to pick up. These games keep getting worse with all of the mechanics being switched when they don’t need to be. I would highly recommend not getting this game unless you are a huge fan of the series. If I could give this game 0 stars I would in a heartbeat, no second thought.
