The movie is an absolute masterpiece. The hardwork and effort Prithviraj took for this movie is beyond appreciation. It really is a peak of Malayalam Cinema. As a fan of the novel, I must say that there were a lot of scenes that I thought was really important in Najeeb's life in the dessert like his emotional connection with the goats and camels which the movie was not able to replicate . But moreover this is Najeeb's story and the film was able to capture the hardships that he went through. As Benyamin said, "നാം അനുഭവിക്കാത്ത ജീവിതങ്ങളെല്ലാം നമുക്ക് വെറും കെട്ടുകഥകൾ മാത്രമാണ്”.
