Beef casually touched on the different east Asian cultures, which played perfectly into it's storyline. Ali Wong's Amy is subtle and intense at the same time, a layered character as the episodes revealed... In todays society where road rage has almost become a norm in traffic jammed Los Angeles, or any megapolitan of the world, the scenario is easily relatable. Steven Yeun's Danny is believable, although one may question whether if he had gone too far sometimes.... All the other casts are well acted.... It is rare that there isn't anything awful to be pointed out in a 10 episode show. It has a distinct flavor in the story telling by creator/writer Lee Sung-jin; definitely not just some noise like a lot of other shows. Definitely a must stream!
