MediEvil for the PlayStation 4 is a decent remake that knocks the ball out of the park when it comes to visually updating this classic, but very frequently can have frame rate issues and clunky controls. It plays well enough to not be a nuisance, the music is great, and it features fresh new takes on classic levels. Even if you've played the original to death like I have, there are surprises waiting for you in unexpected places. I would recommend this game at full price if you've played the original cult classic, but if you are unfamiliar with MediEvil, I'd recommend this on sale.
