Very slow, with unnatural dialogue. It doesn't have the charm or authenticity of the novel, that's for sure.

Kept me interested and guessing from start to finish. Really great cast.

This is so badly miscast, Maxim too young with zero charisma and presence, the young Mrs de Winter way too saucy and attractive. There is no atmosphere and the characters' dynamic is nothing like the novel or the original fantastic and unbeatable movie which I can strongly recommend. I couldn't even finish watching this feeble rehash and turned it off 30 minutes before the end.

Terrible, although I was enjoying it until it morphed off into characters turning into Tinkerbell.
