I really enjoy the Master Chef show, BUT you need to do something about how Joe Bastianich treats the chefs. He is very biased, prejudiced and stereotypes against people he has created personal issues with. The way he has talked to Shanika from the Back to Win season AND on the original season she was on is terrible. He continued to make stereotypical comments to her that people has always used to belittle black women. Because Shanika is very confident and carries herself well, Joe does not like that and shame on him. Before the Back to Win episode revealed the winner I knew he had created preconceived notions about Dara winning. He tasted the three finalist food and heavily critiqued the two guys on technique because he had no leg to stand on with flavors and taste, BUT boldly stated that he could not care if Dara did mess up on techniques with her appetizer, he would serve it in his restaurant and it was the best of the night. He is a jerk and maybe he will benefit from taking classes for harassers.
