Learning how a shotgun might be used during suicide was the film's one redeeming feature for me. But seriously, it had so many unbelievable and/or unpleasant features, such as 1) a completely paralyzed man who can't even speak or change his gaze living at home with no professional help, 2) a feral cat who is more cuddly than the average house cat and who follows verbal commands, 3) a rule-following engineer who embraces transgenderism without question, yet can't accept that rope can be sold by the yard instead of by the foot, 4) a mother leaving her children with an old solitary grumpy man she met only recently and who had been verbally abusive to her repeatedly.
I didn't buy any of it, and I didn't enjoy any of it. It was one of those films that I wished I could get a refund on. I don't get the impression that anyone worked very hard on this film.
