This movie is absolutely beautiful!! It has several meaningful messages in it, and I cried several times watching the movie. It makes it clear that neither a matriarchy or a patriarchy is the correct way to run a society. It also affirms the viewers that your self worth isn’t defined by society’s opinions, it’s up to you and what you make of it. The mother-daughter parts of it hit a spot that brought up the tears! There’s a lot of hate towards Ken, but he learns that he is not worth existing only for Barbie OR existing just as a stereotypical patriarchal man. Make sure to be kind to your moms, and remember you are Kenough 💕
