invasion of what exactly?. The series is called invasion but 5 episodes in, we've yet to see any proper aliens or a serious invasion of earth. Instead it should be called how a few people, many of whom aren't very interesting, cope in stresful situations when weird things happen around them. I can see the story is slow burn but any slower and it will be going in reverse and most viewers will have stopped watching it. The series maybe more in the style of "Signs" than "Independance day" but so far Signs is done better. This series could have been so much more if there was a good balance of alien invasion in the show with character story development but 5 hours later, it's so 1 sided with mostly boring characters having tantrums and arguments, I'm struggling to recommend it to anyone.
