Brilliant performance by all the cast, especially ranbir kapoor. Every scene has been so beautifully enacted, it makes you want to believe what is being portrayed. Assessing facts requires a different level of analysis, which we probably have no capability of doing probably, especially in times of sensationalism news. But if you can move past that, and look at the movie as only a story, it is a touching one.. whether it's a relationship between father and son, between two friends, a man's struggle against drug abuse.. But yes, the movie also tells us that we can't judge one way or another without being privy to all facts. So while it may be difficult to digest that a single person can have been the victim in every aspect of his life, it must also be conceded that not every person is strong to begin with. Pressures to live up to someone and personal circumstances can indeed break you, and it takes a lot of strength of character to come back from that
