Im sad to say that this is a terrible film. It started well, the Haiti scenes are the best part of the movie, but after about 30-40 mins it just runs out of steam and collapses under the weight of the Exorcist name. The scares (of which there are few) are jump scares, one of which is stolen directly from Insidious. The tone and the atmosphere that David Gordon Green created are totally off, conveying neither fear nor dread. The two little girls are great actresses, but they are wasted, gurning and growling as some exec no doubt thought thats what made the first film scary. The people who made this have no idea why The Exorcist was such a terrifyingly brilliant film.Leslie Odom Jr is the only high point, every scene he's in he steals. Avoid this film at all costs.

Such a fun movie! It's not going to be to everyone's tastes but I'm a die hard Indy fan and I left the cinema smiling! It's thrilling, full of adventure and plenty of laughs. It's also great to see Harrison Ford lean into his age, showing us that now it is the years and the mileage! The ending is a wild swing, you might like it, you might not but for me it worked! Overall, I loved it!

I loved Extra Ordinary! It's quirky and weird and just the right amount of tongue-in-cheek to make it charming instead of annoying. Maeve Higgins might be the star of the show but Barry Ward, especially in the final third of the film, really amplifies the fun (I don't want to say anything more without ruining it). Don't get me wrong, Extra Ordinary will not be to everyone's taste but I haven't enjoyed watching a film as much in a long time; and I think the stars really enjoyed making it too. Go see it, it's a lot of fun!
