This movie is a perfect example of pure (poorly executed) escapism. It is completely implausible in myriad ways, relies on tired tropes and stereotypes, pretends to be profound, but is actually embarrassingly shallow and insipid. I wanted something to escape with, but there's only so much disbelief one can suspend for two long hours. Nope.
