This book was tragically bad. I wasted my money and time. Very overhyped, and the writing was not satisfying to read at all.
The LGBTQ theme felt very thrown in last minute, and came out of nowhere. Does not even expand into the idea of falling in love while you can, or other opportunities the author could have taken.
The teenage slang was very hard to read and made me cringe.
The “tragic death” route could have redeemed the book a more but the actual death that happened was very anticlimactic. Maybe it was supposed to follow the theme of death being random and unexpected but in the end, for the purposes of telling a story, it did not inspire me at all to live my best life or whatever I think the author was trying to say.
I will be donating this book to goodwill to get a tax return, so I can at least get something good out of reading this book.
