Really liked the premise, the game itself, the story, interactions, all the different stuff to do.
What I detest about the game, is that dying is extremely penalizing. You lose 10 points off your max health/warmth/stats/etc, as well as all your items.
So when you die more than a few times, and constantly start/max out at 60% or less of your stats, it gets too hard so you have to restart. It might as well be perma death. So anyway, you keep restarting because you’re constantly dying, and replaying the same missions *over and over again*.
This game doesn’t respect your time, and you have to keep redoing the same stuff and starting back from the very beginning, minute one. I like hard games, I like open world time consuming games even, but I don’t like repeating the same missions over and over after sinking hours and hours into my last gameplay.
If they got rid of the death penalty I’d certainly give it another try… but with how many awesome games out that exist right now, I’d rather not sink time into just this one because of this reason. Each time I reset I lose 5+ hours of gameplay… no thanks.
