I wanted to like it, I really tried but I just couldn't and this has been an attempt since last year. What was alluring on the back cover didn't do the same once I started reading it. It was chaotic and I found myself having to re-read lines however I would never discard a book. I'll put it aside for now, start on a book I've had my eye on and someday get back to this particular one and give it another go 🤞

It was underwhelmed albeit filled with the divaness and theatrics of MC. I have been a fan of hers since Vision of Love and to be honest, thought the book would provide more than what was..at the end of the last chapter, I found myself asking "was that it?" Maybe Mariah just wanted to shed light of what/who made her - full stop.
