Spoilers: I enjoyed it but it wasn't what I expected and not in a good way. I feel her wishes were waisted. The Gene already found love we didn't need the main character to also fall in love with him. I was hope we would go on an adventure with the two of them. As we went through the genes life stories I was waiting all that time for her long journey to start and I feel we never really got that. She made a love wish which everyone always makes, she made a wish for him to talk to her which was also waisted because eventually he would have come out of whatever state he was in anyways, and she wished him to be free which is always the last wish in Gene stories. I feel like nothing new was told. I give it a 7 out of 10 only due to it's spectacular visuals.
