My honest review is it's epic, the story goes well by serving as both a reboot and continuation of the story as well. So while it's called MK 1 it could be MK 12 just as easily. I didn't like the removal of Cassie Cage and Jaqi Brigs as well as others like Jax, yes, he's in the game but only a Kameo. Though, I get why they did that. I assume that they may go through some of the other stories that was played through other games like they did with the story by combining the first few games stories together but also retelling it too.

It was good, it had some cast returning. But I felt it to be a bit too political. One of the female leads say "You don't need a MAN to save the future." I found that a bit on the nose PC.

It was great in my opinion but I don't think it will get multiple movies. A sequel yes. But that's it.
