I know the movie has been out forever but I am getting annoyed with the comments. Some haven't read the book some a good alot has read the book but it doesn't change the fact that the movie sucks. I am not asking for 100% of the book but there are good agitation bad agitation and I was bad agitation change it completely and try fit too much into one movie. It is series book and it could of series movie and it would been really good that way. Olive was kid in the book she was never a teenager and was not Jake love interested that what bugs me the most about the movie. Not only that they tried to put book 1 2 and 3 together and Jake didn't go on boat and join the army until book 3 to go back to Emma. And the only reason he gose back is because his parents are trying to put him in a mental hospital and he misses Emma.
