Most movies nowadays turn out disappointing to the point where the trailer is better than the actual movie itself which has made me hesitant in even going to theaters, BUT I have to say, Twister definitely got added to the list of movies i’m glad I chose to take a chance on, esp for it to have 3.9 stars. I looked at the reviews and saw a lot of people mention the older version. I have not seen it/them so maybe my perspective is not as valid, but I still think the movie turned out really great. It started out pretty intense, but it gave an idea of how much of an impact tornadoes had on her life which made way for the rest of the storyline to make sense. It had a good mix of romance, reunion with friends & family & rediscovering childhood passions that have been slightly put on hold by trauma, but brought back to life later on. In other words, I HIGHLY recommend to watch!
