I went along with husband and friends fully expecting to fall asleep at some point, I’d watched the trailer and it didn’t grab me. I’ve no interest in cars and know nothing about Ferrari , except the cars used to be sold in Egham where we lived. However I really enjoyed the story as it unfolded and knowing it was based on true events made it very absorbing and shocking at times. Really glad I agreed to go ( just to go out to supper afterwards!) and came home and read up on the events and facts it was based on. Definitely one to see on a big screen to get the full effects of the power of the cars

Oh my goodness, this is film is st least an hour to long, the first half drags , people got up and left. The dialogue is impossible to hear as the awful string music drowns it out. A lot of the male scientists look alike, so trying to keep track off them all , you need to take notes! The scenes skip around so at first you have no idea chronologically where you are in Oppenheimers story. Eventually when they get to the desert things pick up -a bit, but the dreadful music just distracts from the drama rather than helping it. Finally st the climax of the film the music is so bad it drowns out Oppenheimers last line-so people were asking each other - what did he say?? as the credits started to roll. Listening to the comments as we left the cinema-we weren’t the only ones disappointed
