I’all give it a B. Kids will love it. My review is going to be a bit harsh because Aladdin and Jasmine have always been my favorite. Personally I felt that the first half was rushed, and the reprise of speechless was a little confusing and totally unnecessary. Jafar was not intimidating at all, he look like he should be at the pool with his three kids - LOL but that’s just me. I didn’t love Aladdin at first-but he grows on you. I thought Jasmin was just as she should be. I was also happy with Iago being more like an actual parrot, my husband strongly disagreed as he love the wisecrack and cartoony Iago. The visuals were fantastic, I thought Will Smith was given to many corny lines although I did like him overall as the genie and I liked his backstory. Overall I think all the actors did a great job, everything was beautiful – I guess I just didn’t like the directing. But I understand it’s a hard transition to make that cartoon into a live action film.
