SPOILERS! We love paw patrol in this house, but there are some huge cons to this movie. I was disappointed by the movie. It’s watchable but not the best. 1) As mentioned by many people, it’s rushed. The film seems to be thrown together. Not sure if Covid had anything to do with it. Theaters were closed all over the place so maybe they knew they wouldn’t be making much money off the film. It feels like a rough draft. 2) the beginning of the film the driver swerves aggressively for a turtle in the road… you gotta be kidding me.. lazy writing. You couldn’t think of anything better. After that chase and Ryder carry the turtle to its mom. In one of the first episodes of paw patrol, Ryder explains why you shouldn’t pick up turtles or help them get to the water. It contradicted itself. I always liked that paw patrol taught real life lessons. They lacked that here. (Especially swerving for a turtle) 3) Liberty is annoying. She’s cute at some points but overall she ruins the movie with her attitude. 4) the same 10 background characters were used over and over again throughout the whole movie. 5) A good chunk of the movie felt like a message from liberal Hollywood.
