Madam Vaudelune

This entire SERIES is well written, incredibly imaginative in a vein we now call ' alternative history.' Definitely for those over 15, this is a treat for the young and old. The first couple of chapters, I'll admit, went slowly but the incredible action -packed, horror galore and good old fashioned cliff hanger chapters to boot were worth the wait. Rick Yancy is a master of capturing mood and ambiance. The first book takes the adventurer where only the brave dare tred. If you want goosebumps, chills, thrills, shock and a screaming good romp thru the 19th century's most dangerous locations, look no more. The Mostrumologist has it all, and more.
