This is surprisingly EXCELLENT TV. They somehow manage to introduce a lot of "woke, liberal" ideology but then present the "other side" of the spectrum as well; combining in depth, logical exploration of BOTH/all viewpoints. The character arcs are incredibly well done, the stories are interesting, it's very "episodic", meaning every episode can relate to the whole season but also stand alone on their own just as well. Seth is a great actor, portraying both the "bumbling, fumbling, white guy" while also being a smart, strong and compassionate leader. Excellent writing, acting, lots of diversity. It's the best "TV" I've seen in decades and look forward to MANY more seasons. Any Trekkie will enjoy this show and it's even better than ANY Star Wars than we've seen in decades. Great humor and story telling. I was hooked from episode 1. Great job Seth and Team !! Seriously well done.
