Just throwing my 2 cents in here, since so many 1-star reviews complaining about a boy liking another boy is wrong. I watched the movie and thought it was great! Some kids are born homosexual, and most aren't! Big deal. So what if your child ends up wondering if they like the same gender or not. Let them take that as a cue to figure it out. Don't freak out and tell them it's wrong - it's not! IMO normalising gay relationships is way more healthy than normalising royalty. The film had amazing visuals, and a great storyline.

A great sci-fi movie if you don't know anything about science, and don't care about unbelievable characters and their unlikely dialogue. It's a shame, really. Could have been amazing if a tiny fraction of the vfx budget got spent on script writing and science advisors
