Dishonest, pretentious, drivel. Dialogue based on what university graduate students would say demonstrates disconnect between current political sentiments and the realities of this deeply conservative religious community. Don't understand the Best Picture Nomination other than it fulfills the Academy's desperate need to promote "woke" culture. Some decent performances...that explains 2 stars. Otherwise avoid this really dreary film that might have been interesting had the producers had any genuine respect for the original story.
