Having been primary caregiver for both parents in the home with periodic hospice this movie captures the experience. Sally gives her all and gives a nuanced performance through out. All players including the characters children and her best friend provided so much as well as her second husband. Amazing hands down movie.

Wonderful acting, but incredibly depressing as all characters are tragic and tortured. Very disjointed and hard to follow. Movies are not books. Some books need to remain as books. This is creepy voyeurism. Not many films worth being done came out in this decade.

This movie was very interesting and shows the difficulty woman have in Hollywood. The reason this movie does not get five stars is the last ten minutes when they lambast Trump who has done more for woman than any other president and also as a businessman hiring and promoting women and minorities. This really shows why women are not advanced in Hollywood. They buy into stupid things. Lack of intelligence and make it hard for women with real brains. The narrow minds are very narrow. The reason I succeeded in male dominated careers is due to the fact that I don't judge people by anything. I see people and myself as just people. I am not a group joiner. I see myself as just a person. It makes a difference. That is why the creator of Grey's Anatomy is so good. It's about people. Not categories.

I think NBC is making a real mistake canceling what I see a show that could last 10 years. The second year could include and old flame of Abby's that served with her and she had a strong relationship. This woman was married to her childhood best friend and they all served together. The woman's husband was killed and Abby and the woman bonded as she helped her through her pregnancy and birth of her little girl. The woman finally leaves the service and her daughter is 13. She is thinking about joining the local police force and she is thinking about renewing her relationship with Abby. We learn much more about the patrons and workers at the bar as Abby struggles with deciding if she wants to take on a family in her personal life.

This film was an hour and 52 minutes of a pile of depressing mulch. I wanted to slit my wrists after watching. I will save you the precious time I will never get back. Life is a hot mess of futility in which we all die in obscurity doing work that no one remembers or appreciates and money doesn't make you happy. It is set in New York. No surprises there. No wonder more New Yorkers retire in Florida. I shake my head at this utter waste of money. That's why I watch Hallmark Movies and TCM old movies. I want to feel good and hopeful, laugh or be taken to someplace I have never been etc. Netflix marked this as critically acclaimed and a comedy. In what world? Don't waste your time and don't believe the hype.

October Baby tells the story. Simply tells the story from all points of view and any woman in a situation they feel they have no choice or someone who has been thru situations like these will find this film cathartic for all. Well written and well told this is a must see film and ultimately the best love story I have ever seen in film. Don't miss this film. Trust me on this one.

Lovely. I could hear Redgrave read the telephone book and I would be enchanted. Everyone should see this movie.

Again a wonderful family film and by this time the male lead had been recast with an equally wonderful actor who was not a jarring replacement and embraced the role beautifully. The chemistry between the actress and the actor was wonderful. This was a beautiful film in which we are introduced to the beauty of Thailand. A fun romp as the new Queen and King spend their first anniversary on a diplomatic mission. Loved this film with a fun adventure wonderfully cast and acted. Loved the new villain of the story as well as the Thailand Laura Croft with daring do. And finally the trusty assistant to the King gets a lovely story line. Jonathan Firth was again wonderful as the swiss army knife of the King. Ase Wang shined as the lovely princess in danger.Thai actor Vithaya Pansringarm played the King father of the bride was an amazing gift. And props to the costume design and wonderful Dance sequences.

Delightful. Smart Writing. Betty Hutton as the Dreamy Girl says it all. And familiar Soap Opera actor last remembered as Dr. Horton on Days of Our Lives was amazing as the newspaper writer firing off those smart lines and the banter back between he and Betty. The writer was know for clever writing and a native New Yorker. Make a point to watch Zamah Cunningham as the vocal coach for Betty Hutton. Started out working with D W Griffith and then a Musical Broadway Star you will see a woman with some powerful lungs. She later did TV including working with Jackie Gleason. The little subtle affectation of her character was smoking a cigarette during the lesson. She went on to live to 74. Boy I would have loved to talk to her. The stories she could tell. Check this one out.
