The series is historically inaccurate. This is typical, and it would not be a problem by itself, where it not for the timing. Portraying as Russian Ukrainian nobility (e.g. Yaroslav the Wise, who ruled from Kyiv and was a duke of Kyiv Rus, not Russia) is a form of cultural appropriation which is highly offensive especially in times when Russia is bombing Ukrainian cities and killing Ukrainians. Shame on you.
