Uncut gems is a movie that genuinely surprised me. In short this move takes you on the journey of a New York jeweler / hustler 'Howard Ratner' who has a HUGE gambling problem. This guy is a TOTAL slime ball, who continues to dig himself into major debt with some bad people. The robbing peter to pay Paul type of scenario. However he has a humanity about him and you just can't help to root for the guy. This is a nonstop movie, that keeps you going & going & going. At moments when the movie feels exhausting, there is a brief moment of relief for the audience to breathe & then keeps on going. But that is okay because the acting is PHENOMENAL, I did not know Adam Sandler could even play a role like this. Even the celebrities who end up playing themselves (Kevin Garnet) in the movie did a great job. Overall guys, I really do not think there is a middle ground for this movie. You will either love or hate this movie. In my personal opinion, this movie is a MUST watch. Phenomenal
