Would you punish a person who doesn't remember committing a crime? Well, c'mon he/she is altogether a different person than the one who's culpable, the only thinng in common being their appearances. *Spoiler ahead*- The show clearly explains what I have said before. The new Skillane is nice, she is afraid about her "daughter", she tries to protect her ally. Whenever she is reminded of something harmful, she warns the others. White Bear hasn't failed to show the difference between the cruel(if she ever was) Skillane and the new Skillane, but I don't think that there wouldn't be atleast one among the onlookers, who would help her just because it wasn't she who committed the crime, it was some other Skillane who just happened to look like the one being punished.
