‘…because you’re so smart, you think everyone else is stupid.’ That line summed up how the writers see their audience. The more seasoned actors are trying their best but, despite looking like they’re not sure what genre they’re in. The characters, however make no sense. Their behaviour is off-key and incredibly frustrating. The reporter’s role is undermined and she comes off as a teenager on her first day of her holiday job and we as the audience are treated as more incompetent than she’s been written. All the elements are setup for something fresh and yet, handled with lame, wet hands. If this was meant to be a dark comedy, drama or suspense tale, it fails either way.
