MAER RIGAN

I expected this to be a bit backwards like Will and Grace, poking fun at negative stereotypes. There are plenty of jokes but none were distasteful. It's mainly about the struggle for equality while saving the world from sociopaths and corruption. This needs more seasons. Two or three more at least.

The sets and puppets hold up to Jim Henson's quality. The story is a bit of a reboot and it doesn't seem like the writers watched the original movie this show is supposed to be based on in 30 years. They didn't write properly for Chamberlain. They made him speak like a cartoon caveman instead of using his established speach pattern. It's inconsistent. Sometimes he seems incapable of using pronouns, other times he uses them. In the introduction and first few episodes they changed the basic premise of the crystal.

I watched 1 episode. None of the teen actors can act. The script was pretty weak as well. It should only be aired on nickelodeon for young children. Anyone 12 and up might not be able to get into the show.

I couldn't stand to watch this. The dialog is juvenile. This movie was made for preteens.

I like the show. The Wednesday character and actress are perfect. Luis Guzmán is atrocious. I guess he never actually saw the Addams Family TV show or the 2 movies. He isn't remotely anything like Gomez. Luckily the show isn't about him.
