Funny, entertaining, and stupid (but good stupid). This is one of those rare movies that is just a joy to watch. The A-star cast is phenomenal and the production top notch. Though, the crossover between absurdity and realism isn't really there, as it's too heavy on the absurdity side, that's the only downer in an otherwise fantastic production.

A tedious, anticlimactic and stupid movie, 1917 is the worst move I have ever seen. Were it not for the characters in uniform, you would not know this was a war genre movie. It is a movie about two men travelling across the countryside. Imagine the Wizard of Oz in a worn torn country and you can practically illustrate this movie.
