Genuinely so awful. Absolutely ignored some of the core parts of the lore, and made me jump one time in the entire film (which is very little for a movie based off of jumpscaring games!) Casting was great, happy to see Josh Hutcherson as well as cameos such as MattPat and Coryxkenshin. This was the only good aspect. To a person that doesn’t know anything about the games, this movie may be decent. To anyone that’s ever played the games or had any interest in Five Nights at Freddy’s, this movie is just terrible and almost insulting.
