this movie sucks, i walked out in the middle of the movie because i couldn't handle it. it is very dramatic, too dramatic, and is very inaccurate to the actual story, it is exaggerated which made it more dramatic, which was very unnecessary. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS. if you are really eager to watch it i would wait a month for it to drop on apple tv or websites.

It's a very feel-good movie, a movie that makes you want to tape stickers and pages out of a magazine on your wall. the portrayal of the character was incredible, i loved saoirse ronan in this movie and she really fits the character of "ladybird" (christine). the ending was very satisfying, and it truly made me proud to hear her talk to her mom calling herself "christine" after their argument. it truly made me proud to watch her move to nyc and live her life. she followed her same dreams, she just followed a different path. her story is very relatable, the breakups the friends, the fake friends, and all. this movie just makes you fall more in love with ladybird, and god, i'd kill to be her friend.

this movie is beautiful, it romanticizes your life, and leaves you with a surreal thrill. saoirse ronan as jo is the best decision greta gerwig has ever made, and other characters like florence pugh, timothee chalamet, laura dern, and much more truly enhanced saoirse's performance. truly love this movie, the flashbacks, and grievings. i still think jo should've ended up with laurie tho.
