I only played the first few missions and wasn't impressed... Maybe because it was the Switch port version, not the original 3DS; the visual effects were kinda old fashioned (for the lack of a better word) and the environment was so low-def. Nothing really hooked me in to keep playing. I guess if you're a hard core Legend of Zelda fan, then you'll enjoy seeing all these familiar faces in one place.

Contrary to my hopes, this isn't *exactly* a prequel to Breath of the Wild because it takes place in a different timeline to allow for a happy ending (which is totally fair), but I love it nonetheless. It doesn't feel as tedious as Fire Emblem Warriors, and it offers more gameplay than the first Hyrule Warriors, so I think it takes the best of both worlds. The only complaint I have is how difficult it can be for co-op play in terms of visibility; the game slows significantly when there's a lot going on on screen, and the horizontal split of the screen makes it hard to aim aerial attacks and see taller enemies' health bars and Sheikah slate cues. Otherwise, this game is definitely worth a shot and I'm looking forward to DLC in the future.

I don't know how Nintendo's ever going to top this game in the franchise because it is visually and audibly gorgeous. I'm very glad they delayed the release date and took the time to fully develop it. It's only been out for about 9 months and I already have 540+ hours on it; I have to say it's my Game of the Year. However, I must admit it lacks multiplayer content... Besides inviting/visiting others and sharing resources, there's not many activities to do together unless you get creative and make your own, like fishing tourneys, hide-and-seek, obstacle courses, etc. It's still a relaxing, adorable game to enjoy.

Don't let the cheap price fool you --- this game is amazing. I honestly can't believe it's not a full $60 game considering how much it has to offer. There's literally thousands of recorded voice lines that make the characters feel alive and unique, and the story is a lot longer than I expected! It may feel difficult at first, but like any other rogue-like game it becomes more fun and easier as you grow stronger. Supergiant really did a good job making each run feel like it was worth the try since there are lots of collectibles to take home. I am now a fan of Greek mythology than I ever was.

I really like the characters in this game; they're each unique and memorable, despite how awkward some of the dialogue felt (at least in Japanese). Although there isn't a whole Pokedex worth of new Pokemon, they're still cool and clever in alluding to the British countryside. The environments are quite beautiful, especially with the indigenous pokemon who just hang out in each city to give it some liveliness. I wasn't a fan of the online multiplayer mode in the Wild Area, though, because the servers are randomized every 30 seconds which it makes it very hard to meet up with friends. The raid battles seem unnecessary to me just because they feel like an imitation of PokemonGO, but at least that has more stable online connection. I have yet to try the DLC packs, so I will say the base game is fun and really pretty to play through.

It's... good for what it is. I hate that SEGA decided to use the arcade version's gameplay because the multi-button targets are so stressful to hit. The button hold mechanic is also frustrating; I used to love the long targets as seen in previous Project DIVA games. It also feels rather incomplete, given how many DLC packs are necessary to play it, but the biggest disappointment I had was the pros and cons between docked/handheld play. Docked: high resolution, smooth movements, but button input lags pretty badly even with lag configuration Handheld: Accurate button input but lower resolution and slightly slowed frame rates This new model design and shading system eventually grew on me, but it was weird at first. I guess I'm too used to the previous games that this felt like a drastic change overall... I would've loved to have more character interaction, even if it's just each VOCALOID's game result voice lines.

The incomparably huge and ambitious roster is obviously what makes this game so great. I must say the "adventure mode" called World of Light is my least favorite part of this game. Some of the trials are insanely hard, but sometimes they become stupidly easy with a few OP spirits. Like my colleague said, "I feel like I'm getting worse at SSB while playing World of Light." There are some other super minor annoyances personally like Marth getting an English dub (lol), but I still really love playing this game with my friends. Hopefully the rest of the DLC fighters will add more to the experience!
