Ok, I understand using some parallels, but Vulan's didn't kiss until the newer movies. They originally did the index and middle fingers touching partners. Also there are other times in some of the older star trek where the star ship was in atmosphere or on the planet. Star Trek Voyager was designed to land on the surface and did several times. I a klingon bird of prey landed on earth when Kirk and crew went back in time to save their future. To name a few cases. Why do the andorions look like the aliens from Stargate Atlantis? Plus the fact that people are complaining about when WW3 happened is dumb. It fiction! Plus why can't we have anything that has to be polite sized? Can't we just movies, TV shows, video games, etc. that doesn't have to over infisize all the nonsens. It can easily be in there, but not rubbed in our faces.

Great acting by Patrick Stewart and original star trek cast from Next Generation and Voyager. Great action and great scenes. Terrible writing and setup, etc. Terrible treatment of cast and doesn't feel, sound, taste, etc. like Star Trek. Breaks my heart.
