You watch rom coms for 2 reasons, the are funny and you completely fall for the romance of the 2 main characters. For this reason I absolutely loved the first 2 films and hated the 3rd. I was so excited to watch it and was devastated by then end. Completely killed it for me! I understand where they were going with this but why couldn’t she have the love of her life and find her passion at the same time? Why is one at the expense of the other? I get it woman power and all that but she also deserves love! They said they would fight for each other and then they didn’t fight for each other at all in the end. I have watched the first 2 films so many times I’ve lost count and the joy you feel while watching them gets you each time at the end of both films. The relationships she has with both boys is why we watch them. This one left me wanting and so disappointed that I probably won’t watch it again. The chemistry, romance and laughter wasn’t there and neither was that joyous ending that makes you feel good. Just sad so sad. Will pretend this one doesn’t exist like the ending of Game of Thrones, Dexter, The vampire diaries and True blood. So many ruined by bad endings with bad writing.
