Pure magic and quite possibly one of the best films I've ever seen. I was so moved and am still mesmerized by this beautiful creature under the sea. I rooted for her, I marveled at her ingenuity, I panicked when she was in danger, and I wept at her calm resignation to the circle of life. This film touched me on so many levels and I'm still grappling with what to do with all the feelings it stirred within me. It makes me remember a time when I was freer, and I feel a renewed longing to reconnect with the earth in a more meaningful way. I can't help but wonder, can we humans learn to surrender to the earth's natural currents and live by our own internal rhythms the way animals do so purely and instinctively? This film and has made me feel deeply humbled, concerned for the planet, and determined to live with greater joy, all thanks to an octopus.
