I was kinda shocked about the amount and level of violence. There were few peaceful scenes and the long scenes full of violence and aggression felt like I am watching combination of Commando, Rambo 3 and Terminator. I was kinda expecting that the first movie after such a long time would be about introducing new world and life and maybe later in the movie some condition change development, but it was full on action. Didn’t expect that. I sat next to two 10-12 year olds and they were really anxious, holding hands and comforting each other to get through the violent scenes. Overall, the movie has a big message for humanity again, it was beautifully shot and the new ways of life were fabulous. Although I doubt that species on another planet from earth would develop same culture like Māori. Same style of Tattoos and scare tongues…just saying
