Suspenseful and tense, the story poses a question of maternal instinct, trust, and deception. I adore Hilary Swank in just about anything, but the story's slow pace makes it even more creepy. It is surreal to think of an infant being reared by a robot, but here we are. It's a not so subtle nod to the myth of creation.
