I am a man and dont usually watch shows which are essentially Love stories. However, the Outlander series is a love story for the ages! Every time the main characters are seperated though tradegy and then get back together again by running into each others arms, almost brings a tear to my eye. I urge everyone to give the 4 seasons a watch. Each episode teaches you something about history (the researchers have done a good job) and makes you question how you would respond in each situation. The slavery era in particular ( fourth series) was handled with particular care and attention. The acting is above par and the characters all have depth. Not to mention, Caitriona Balfe is a true english Rose! Amazing show. I think seson 4 should be the last, this back and forth in time through what is essentially a slab of rock is starting to wear thin! Minor criticism.

This would be good family wholesome fun if it weren't for the pointless sexual innuendos every episode. I wish the creators would keep it clean, I know for a fact under 12 year olds watch this show and it does a disservice to Mr Miyagi and the clean Karate kid films it is based on!
