This is Billy Bob Thornton's masterpiece! Never get tired of watching it again and again due to its depth be of the characters and the details of the production. An interesting bit of trivia we heard is that Thornton's wish was to film it in black and white. He was persuaded by the "experts" in the project to shoot in color. He chose the very subdued tones of everything we see in this film. It works!
