Saw this today and was surprised on how good it was. Most of the bad reviews are from conservatives just angry that inclusivity is a thing in this movie or people who don't understand it's a musical. Songs were good and Renee really impressed me. Also, the movie is PG 13 in case you didn't et the memo so yes, there is swearing and some mentions of sex Nothing will be as amazing as the original but for what it is I'd recommend it.
