This series made up for whoever let TP Sh¥t all over the Patterson books. Freeman was good, but this is the first Cross that fits the character from the book.

Teyana Taylor was it. Her first role? Son, she pulled me along the entire movie, even as the plot started to falter towards the end. I didn't really care because she made it worth the trip. One of those performances where I forgot that she was acting, which helps sell the story line that much more.
